Karachi’s National Stadium damaged by dust storm

The newly renovated National Stadium in Karachi suffered damage in the recent dust storm that swept through the city.

The rough weather damaged the Teflon roofs that were installed at the stadium.

The roofs were made in Germany and brought to the country via Malaysia. They were installed ahead of this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The authorities had claimed that the roof could last up to two decades.

An exterior wall of the stadium also collapsed.
