اس بات پر بھی زور دیا کہ پاکستان اور افغانستان پولیو کے خاتمے کیلئےسنجیدہ اقدامات یقینی بنائیں۔

نجی ٹی وی کو انٹرویو میں مرتضیٰ سولنگی نے سابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب اور تحریک انصاف کے صدر چودھری پرویزالٰہی کی گرفتار پرردعل میں کہا کہ ایک ذمہ دار نگراں حکومت ہونے کے ناطے ہمارا فرض ہے کہ ہم عدلیہ اور قانون کا احترام کریں، پرویز الٰہی کی گرفتاری کا معاملہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں اور عدلیہ کے درمیان ہے۔

انہوں نےکہا کہ ملک میں ہر ایک کو اظہار رائے اور تنقید کا حق ہے، ہم کسی سے ان کا یہ حق چھین نہیں سکتے لیکن ہمارا بھی حق ہے کہ جس چیز کو درست سمجھیں وہ بلا خوف و خطر سامنے رکھیں۔

ایک سوال کے جواب میں انہوں نے کہا کہ بجلی کے بلوں میں ریلیف کے حوالے سے کوششیں جاری ہیں، اس بارے تفصیلات فیصلوں کی شکل میں سامنے آئیں گی۔ آئین، قانون اور ہماری محدود مدت ہمیں فیصلے کرنے کی اجازت دیتے ہیں، آئین اور قانون کی روشنی میں ملک کے بہتر مفاد میں فیصلے کریں گے اور ان پر ڈٹ کر کھڑے رہیں گے۔
