Multan Sultans all-rounder Shahid Afridi has said he wants to lead a Kashmir-based Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise in the future.
The former Pakistan captain was taking part in relief activities in selected areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir when he made the statement.
“I would request the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to name a team after Kashmir in the next edition of the PSL,” he said in a video that went viral on social media. “I want to lead that side before I end my career.”
