Muzaffarabad’s Neelum Road closed due to landsliding

The Neelum Road in Muzaffarabad was shut down on Friday after landsliding in the area.

A 300-foot-long lane near Noseri was damaged after a huge rock came sliding down onto it. Due to this, the road was blocked, leaving a huge queue of cars stuck.

Residents have been facing difficulties commuting to and from the area because of landsliding.

The Neelum Road is the only road leading to the Neelum Valley. Rescue organisations have started working to reopen the road, however, it’s still not known when the repairs will be completed.
