A 22-year-old man shot dead his mother for not giving him pocket money in Attock district Wednesday night, the police said.
The family lived in a small house in Hasan Abdal.
The woman had three sons and two daughters, and her husband used to work as a labourer.
The suspect is currently on the run. The police are conducting raids for his arrest.
