Four killed in truck-car collision near Jamshoro Toll Plaza

Four people were killed after a truck loaded with sand overturned on a car near the Toll Plaza in Jamshoro late Thursday night.

The car was traveling from Karachi to Lahore when the accident took place. Four travelers in the car passed away on the spot and one person was injured.

According to witnesses, rescue teams were immediately called after which the truck was removed from on top of the car using heavy machinery. Teams had to cut the car’s body to retrieve the people inside.

The bodies and injured have been shifted to the Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. The deceased have been identified as Shahbaz, Khalid, Ejaz and Umar. The men were on their way to Lahore to celebrate Eid.
