A 10-year-old boy was found dead at a construction site in Lahore’s Johar Town Saturday night, according to the police.
The boy had gone out with his cousin to buy some things from a nearby shop. His cousin had come back home while the boy had gone alone to another shop.
His parents said that he never returned home. “When he didn’t come back, we started searching for him with our neighbours,” his father said.
His body was found at an under-construction building in the area. The police have sent it for a post-mortem examination and samples for forensic testing.
A case has been registered and further investigations are under way.
